Day #20: Epic Failure

Written in

by

Today, I have to temporarily concede defeat to the “31 Days of Silverlight.” While ambitious in nature, I made a slight miscalculation in the month I selected for this project.

I planned a week’s vacation with no internet access for this current week.

As such, you’re discovering today that there is not a post waiting for you in your RSS reader, in your inbox, and on my site. And that’s because I ran out of time to write anymore before leaving for vacation.

When I return, at the end of this week, I will resume where we left off, with Day #20. And I will continue through #31, but they will, disappointingly, not be completed by the end of July. But I will still write 31 articles on Silverlight development, and I hope that several of them have helped you discover something you didn’t know. I hope that you’ve started a little pet project in Silverlight (I know I have…it will be post #31), and that you’re finding just how simple this development technology really is.

Again, my apologies for the poor planning, and the excuses this post offers you. I hope to redeem myself on my return. Thank you for reading.

Dude, you're doing an awesome job. You deserve a break. I mean you're a developer, I didn't expect your estimated timeline to be right anyway ;)I don't care if the project is behind schedule, you're delivering great value. Looking forward to the "real" Day #20.

You get the best out of others when you give the best of yourself.
